Your data is secure as it travels across the internet via 256-bit SSL, the most powerful encryption commercially available today*, and is stored in our encrypted databases where it is only accessible to you through the use of your user ID and password.

* While NetEZLaw's systems are capable of 256-bit SSL, it is imperative that you use the latest web browsers available that can take advantage of 256-bit SSL.

Data Centre Security

Our servers are housed in state of the art data centres where security is the top priority. NetEZLaw environments go through SAS 70 Type II and CICA 5970 Type B audits to provide assurances that our customers are in secure, reliable and effective operating environments that have the proper controls for Internet operations and highly available IT services. This includes datacenter security, customer security, data storage, access and security.

User Security

NetEZLaw uses tightly controlled security that can be managed by your office so you can add or delete solicitors and staff easily and safely.

NetEZLaw requires the use of passwords that are a minimum of 8 characters and must contain a combination of letters and numbers, an industry standard in use by all financial companies.

Chinese Wall

Role and Object-based security work together to provide an Integrated Chinese Wall that facilitates representation of clients without conflicts of interest even within your firm. Access rights to matters are associated with the assigned personnel to that matter. If a user is not assigned to a matter, the exposure to that matter is related to non-sensitive data only.
